TOPIC: Climate Change and Agriculture
Presentation and discussion led by group member Peter Schweinsberg. Peter will focus on how agriculture has been driving climate change through soil erosion, intensive fossil fuel use, deforestation, artificial fertilizers, chemical use, and nitrogenous waste. He will discuss how the altered climate will, in turn, effect agriculture unless we make very rapid changes.
