ORISHA OSHÚN Force of Nature of the River and the Fresh Waters
Learn the movements, rhythms and chants associated with the Afro-Cuban folkloric Orisha tradition. This workshop is dedicated to Oshún, the force of nature of the river and the fresh waters.
Raíces Cultural Center Directors and ensemble members will take participants through a series of songs, rhythms and dances for Oshún while exploring the cultural history and evolution of the tradition.
