Description
Unripe coffee beans growing at Plenitud Eco Farm in Las Marías, Puerto Rico. The mountains of Puerto Rico allow for perfect conditions for coffee growing. At Plenitud, farmers grow hundreds of other crops among their coffee plants instead of having a simple monocrop. This helps them to stabilize and build the soil, promote biodiversity, avoid total crop failure and transition away from plantation style farming back to a culturally appropriate and nature supporting way of growing food and commodities.
